Here is some info just to let you know a little about my personal love of Suzuki
Samurais and what started my ideas of making a site for Samurai enthusiasts.
I have owned my 88 Suzuki Samurai now for over 16 years and I am still very protective
of it, let me just say it has a value to me much greater than money.
I had friends that drove Samurais and many times rode with them and thought this
is a really cool little truck. I had already owned a Rally Sport Camaro and liked
the power of a V8, it was fun to drive.
Honestly there is something about doing those changes yourself, a sense of pride
and a little more of a connected feeling it’s a real enjoyment to have a toy that
size that you can work on and make it your own as many of you know.
My Samurai has
brought me so much enjoyment over the years from riding to the beach and lake with
the top off to playing in the mud and then washing it back to sparkling clean. Those
memories are what my Suzuki Samurai gave me and I know that many of you have some
of those great memories too, so get out and drive some fun!
But you know, I wanted something that I could take the top off and ride free. Something
that would be like a toy just plain enjoyment and hey the 4x4 would just be there
for extra excitement.
I bought my Samurai at a dealer auction it had a little right front damage but run
like a charm. I drove a state away to a salvage yard to get a used hood, right front
fender, front bumper, grill and some other little extras. I did all the parts replacing
myself; water sanded it and then sent my Suzuki to be primed and painted.
